WELCOME TO VORA

Depending on your definition of "regional", somewhere between 25% and 35% of Australians live in regional Australia, and yet, traditional media outlets - radio, television, printed media and others - continue to focus a disproportionate amount of their time, energy and resources on satisfying the 70% of Australians who live in the big cities.

And that is why we established CLIRA - Celebrating Life In Regional Australia.

We want to create a platform that focuses disproportionately on the 25% to 35% who enjoy life outside of the big smoke.

Initially, we will focus our attention on developing podcasts for regional audiences ... and for those city-dwellers who want to understand how the other half live.

In time, though, we will broaden our focus towards written stories, video podcasts and whatever else pops up.

Welcome to CLIRA. We are really glad you dropped in.

ABOUT CLIRA

If we can be totally honest, we are tired of seeing regional Australia under-represented in the content produced by traditional media outlets, social media outlets and the like.

Only around 70% of Australians live in metropolitan areas around the major cities - so what about the other 30%?

CLIRA wants to be part of the solution by providing a platform for authentic regional content. Podcasts. Stories. Business. Not-For Profit Organisations. Clubs. People having a crack.

10 AMAZING

There are so many Amazing people, clubs, organisations, businesses and other groups across regional Australia, doing their thing every day. For some it is their opportunity to volunteer in their community. For others, they are running a small business in their town or district, providing employment for locals and making sure that the town continues to be a vibrant place to live and work.

It's time to celebrate these people and these organisations and that is why we have set up our 10 Amazing features - each one an opportunity to highlight individuals, groups and businesses that are doing Amazing things in regional Australia.
